My Practice
I provide medical care for girls and women of all ages, for pregnancy and any female specific problems. In my practice, you can and should expect the highest level of medical and surgical care. We strive to provide the most current and practical evaluations and treatments in a comfortable, compassionate setting. Although obstetrics and gynecology can be an unpredictable practice, your time is valuable, and we do our best to accomodate all of our patients in a timely, efficient manner.
My areas of specialty include:
- Normal and problem pregnancies - including twins and diabetes
- Different types of sexual dysfunction
- Pelvic Pain
- Contraception counseling
- Abnormal pap smear evaluation and treatment
- Routine well-woman screening
- Osteoporosis
- Abnormal bleeding patterns
Surgical Procedures include:
- Vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy
- Sterilization
- Urinary incontinence correction
- Laparoscopy
- Cesarean sections
I actively participate in women's health research studies at Searcy Medical Center. These studies change frequently, but currently include medications for heavy menstrual bleeding and painful intercourse.
I perform procedures in the office, including Novasure endometrial ablation. This procedure is a simple, safe and effective way to provide long term or permanent relief from abnormal menstrual periods.
My Staff
You should always be greeted with a smile when you visit our Women's Center. Nicole Ellis is our receptionist and she is glad to help you. Debbie Lewis and Lois Sanderson are my nurses. They both have a lot of experience in women's health. They will take the time to listen to and address any problem or concern you might have. They excel at making you comfortable and secure when you come to our office.
